Terms & Conditions

Accessing or using Meriden Busted Mugshots means agreeing to these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

Meriden Busted Mugshots is privately owned and is not affiliated with Meriden Police, any sheriff, jail, court, correctional department, or other government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a consumer-reporting service covered by the FCRA.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site. It does not store official arrest records, operate a jail roster, confirm custody, release a person, or file a request with an agency for a visitor.

Its role is to identify official Meriden and Connecticut record resources and to connect visitors with outside research tools. Those tools remain separate services.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must be lawful and must not interfere with the service or harm another person.

  • Do not use the site to break any law.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate anyone.
  • Do not use its content for a credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility decision.
  • Do not seek access to accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
  • Do not run automated scrapers, bots, or bulk collection tools.
  • Do not disrupt the site or impair another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports

Meriden Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its search and advertising partners do not provide FCRA screening services through this site. Users agree not to rely on site content for:

  • Hiring, retention, or termination
  • Tenant selection or housing decisions
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility
  • Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Outside Websites

Links may lead to police records pages, court systems, correctional locators, government portals, legal resources, news outlets, or outside search products. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control the destination's content, privacy practices, terms, availability, or security.

Service Provided As Is

The service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • Information is accurate, complete, or current
  • Access will always be uninterrupted
  • The service is free of errors, bugs, or security flaws
  • An outside search will return a full or correct result

Custody and public-record data can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from Meriden Police, CT DOC, a court, or another public agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent Connecticut law permits, the owner and operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages tied to access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and its service partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user's conduct, misuse, or breach of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Meriden Busted Mugshots or the identified content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, except where law expressly allows.

Changes to the Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. The current version becomes effective when posted, and continued use after posting signifies acceptance.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice.

Connecticut Governing Law

Connecticut law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any permitted dispute must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in Connecticut.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
